Adrian is a founding member of the core team at Kinky Salon Berlin. He's one of those people who likes to deconstruct experiences and build new ones from the parts. He's a thinker, a doer, and a true community builder, and having visited almost as many Kinky Salons as I have he has a unique perspective on the global community.
In this episode I visit Lucy and Phil in London and we chat while their baby gurgles in the background. What a cutie! Great to hear from a couple with a young baby and how they navigate participating in the community. They are supporters of Kinky Salon London whose relationship and life has been transformed by their experiences there.
On this episode I chat with Reid Mihalko, "America's Favorite Sex Geek," about his experiences in sex positive community and how Kinky Salon impacted his life. Are you curious how went from throwing orgies for his friends in his tiny New York apartment to teaching people how to have better sex lives? He tells all. www.reidaboutsex.com
I've appeared on Monika's podcast Sexploration with Monikamany times over the years. She's a local San Francisco celebrity who's also a regular at Kinky Salon. We talk (among other things) about the irony of navigating sex positive space as powerful sexy women while not being as promiscuous as people expect us to be.

This episode is coming to you direct from Seattle where I just emceed the cabaret for the very first Kinky Salon Seattle! I talk to Heather, who was the instigator of the event, about the differences between Kinky Salons in London, Portland and Seattle, and her journey all the way from Barcelona.
This episode things get super intellectual as I interview Christina Bazzaroni, the PhD (ABD) who is studying Kinky Salon. We started out being her lab rats but then she went native! She's part of the team that set up Kinky Salon in New York and she's been all over the world interviewing the community leaders in all the different cities for her dissertation. She's real smart. The photo is of us in Berlin. She's deeeep in her research dressed as a pirate to blend in. It's purely professional. Ahem.
Following the last episode's introduction to the Porn Clown Posse, this time I've got Ouchy the Clown in an intimate tête-à-tête about his personal life. He's an iconic character in San Francisco subculture, a loving father and husband, and a total perv. Apologies for the bad jokes and to the coulrophobic.
Jessica and Brian Berlin have been regulars at Kinky Salon San Francisco forever. They've tried monogamy and polyamory and now they've got the perfect balance. Listen in on how they became a Kinky Salon power couple! Warning: it involves clowns.
Eric is a podcaster who lives in Chicago. He has an awesome podcast called Full Disclosure which you should totally check out. We talk about Chicago sex culture and how different it is from the Bay Area and in the end I think I convinced him to start a Kinky Salon out there. We'll see!
Lucid has two personalities (at least.) She created her alternate persona Nona Fender so that she could express her East Coast rawness to her West Coast community. She came to Mission Control before Kinky Salon existed, has seen it blossom over the last 15 years, and has some great stories about her early days of exploring open sexuality.
You can experience the rockstar Nona first hand with her vaudeville "rewilding" revival at Bawdy Church on Oct 16
Will's just your friendly average all American neighborhood perv. Come listen to his take on open relationships, being slutty, and looking for an LTCR.
This week's podcast features Daniel, a local guy born in San Francisco and raised in Oakland. We talk about Bay Area life and what it's like to be a Mexican Catholic who grows up to realize they want more than the cultural script that was handed to them.
Allison Moon is an amazing author of fabulous queer sex positive books. She's also a sex educator who teaches people about how to navigate sexy spaces. She's a veteran of Kinky Salon, and has all sorts of insights about queer vs hetero sex spaces. For those of you interested in more, you can follow Allison on Twitter and find her books on Amazon.
Alex Schoenfeldt’s story starts with monogamy and ends with wild sex parties. How did this man go from being your average "normal" guy to having his life completely transformed? Since his first event at Mission Control four years ago he now runs Open Relationship Unversity, the spiritual-sex party “Essence”, and regular monthly potlucks for the Open Relationship Community…
This episode is a little bit different. Instead of interviewing a guest I'm reading from my memoir. I've had lots of requests for an audiobook but haven't had the time, so I thought I'd give you a little taste. In a way, this is my Kinky Salon confession.
In this episode I have the amazingly talented and totally pervy Rachel Lark on the show. She talks about her theory that everyone is trying to start and orgy and tells us her tragic first time swinger party story. Tune in to hear her fabulous Kinky Salon song and learn about her current kickstarter which is for a video for her song about period sex called "Warm, Bloody, and Tender"
Jules is one of the co-producers of Kinky Salon in Berlin. She was gracious enough to host us on the world tour. Here's your chance to meet her and find out about Berlin culture and her part in it.
I loved talking to Mads about Kinky Salon. He's a very clever man and I love his perspecitve. I'm so exhausted from all this traveling that I can't actually piece together a decent intro, so you'll just have to trust me. I'll update this later when my brain is back online.
Hello from New York! Listen in on a conversation between me and the lovely "manmeat" Enormvs. He was one of our favorite performers at Kinky Salon in San Francisco and since he moved to New York he's joined the team here to help create the community here. We talk about his pet chicken, what it's like to feel like a nerd at the cool party, and why performing at Kinky Salon is different from other events.
In this episode of Kinky Salon Confessions I travel to Northern California to a gorgeous hot springs to talk to Russell Gonzaga AKA Sensei. If you're thinking to yourself, "He must have some balls to call himself Sensei," you'd be right. He was an original character in the Kinky Salon San Francisco scene, and is now host of his own Kinky Salon in NorCal. The interview ends with the plan to do a takeover of his event in a couple of months. I hope you'll join us!
I wanted to get a perspective from someone totally new, so in this episode I talk to a total Kinky Salon newbie. Katie's only been to one Kinky Salon, even though she thought she'd been to two we figured out during the show her first event was actually a Mission Control party. Listen in to her story, about how much she loved the environment, and about the challenges she faced. Then we end with a rant about hairy pussy.
Listen in on my conversation with long time Kinky Salon peeps Dan and Nicole, talking about negotiating open relationships, and being in love with a whole community
Dixie and I have been friends for fifteen years. We met pretty much immediately when I moved to San Francisco in 1999. She was one of the first core volunteers at Kinky Salon before she formed her own sex positive community, Bawdy Storytelling. In this episode of Kinky Salon Confessions we talk about early Kinky Salons, finding chosen family, and facing heartbreak. Expect lots of great stories from the origin of Kinky Salon, and lots of love and laughter.
